Saints Studio and The Possum Project are co-building a homeschool education hub, otherwise known as 'The Hollow', launching September 2026 in Ontario, serving youth aged 11–18. With a particular focus on neurodivergent, homeschool and alternative learners.
This is a values-aligned collaboration between two organizations that arrived, independently, at the same conviction: that young people who don't thrive in conventional classroom settings deserve a place built with their learning in mind.

The Possum Project
The Possum Project, is in a partnership with Saints Studio designed specifically for homeschooled youth aged 11–18, with a strong focus on neurodivergent and alternative-learner youth.
A Welcome Letter From SAINTS STUDIO
For more than thirty years, I've worked with children, young people, and adults through music and arts education—as a teacher, choral conductor, voice specialist, and now as the founder of Saints Studio here in Waterdown.
Across every stage of that journey, one truth has remained constant: people learn best when they know they belong. I've seen children discover confidence through singing, teenagers grow into thoughtful eaders, and adults rediscover their voices after illness. Raising six children reinforced that same lesson every day: communities flourish not because everyone is the same, but because people learn to care for one another. Those experiences shaped the philosophy that has guided Saints Studio from the beginning.
Young people should never have to choose between being challenged and being cared for. They deserve both.
That belief is woven into everything we do. Whether through music, science, engineering, art, or collaborative projects, our purpose has always been to help people connect, create and collaborate.
When I met Liz Videka (founder of The Possum Project), it became clear that although we had arrived by different paths, we had arrived at the same destination. Her journey as a parent, educator and advocate, and mine as an educator, parent, and community builder, shared the same conviction: belonging is not separate from learning—it is the foundation that allows learning to flourish.
That's why this partnership exists. The Possum Project isn't simply using space within Saints Studio. Together, we've intentionally created a community where our spaces, educators, creative resources,
and shared values come together to support young people and their families. Every family who joins The Possum Project also becomes part of the wider Saints Studio community.
As you read through The Hollow handbook, you'll discover the philosophy, rhythms, and practical details that shape our community. Above all, I hope you'll discover a place where every young person is known before they are measured, welcomed for who they are, and encouraged to grow into who they are uniquely created to become. We're honoured to be part of your family's journey.
